Hotel history

In a peaceful setting in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, the Hostellerie founded in 1973 and built on the site of a former bricks factory by Mr CHEVRIER (architect of Chaumières de France), is an exclusive gastronomic residence where one comes to discover the Champagne country.
In 1990 the Hostellerie was enlarged and totally renovated.
Pendant l’hiver 1990, l’hostellerie a été agrandie.
Ces dernières années, la totalité des chambres a été rénovée.

In June 2004, Mrs Alix Philipon took over the property. The following two years, she undertook major redecorations: hotel lobby and the reception rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, breakfast room; they have all been entirely refurbished. Brand new Spa, gastronomic restaurant and cosy bar were recently opened in 2006.

Surroundings

With its 110 km of cellars' corridors, Epernay, Capital of Champagne wine (located at 4km from the hotel), is opening the doors of some of the most prestigious Champagne Houses: Moët & Chandon, Mercier, De Castellane, Pol Roger.

Also, the reception team will easily advise on some other wine producers, less known but with very good products. They will kindly share their passion and open their houses' doors like if you were old friends.
